This post is for people who have been actively improving their lives so far, a bit of motivation you know? My reasoning? Only they will have the capability to understand.

But you can read it too, granted that you're doing something with your life and constantly improving.

Benefits of Volunteering Work

Volunteering for something can be one of the best life decisions you can make.

First off, I volunteer for a nursing home and it wasn't my idea at first, my mum dragged me into it. Although at the time I didn't have one job because my CV didn't show much experience on my part. Now I've grown to like it, the people you meet and the experiences that you make are just brilliant. I actually learnt more things about life from old people than my parents.

Wow, it's been a while...

Got bored with blogging so I kinda stopped for a while to pursue other uh... pursuits.

It led me to finding out a lot about myself and what I didn't know, most especially that 'I know nothing at all'.

This blog will most definitely be back as my mind is not yet clear but sharing what I 'found' could help people especially the guys.

I doubt people will bother but then again, it's a short life.

Easy Weight Loss with Soup

Everyone wants to lose weight and be fit, but to those just starting their epic journey will have to face the first hurdle - their diet.

Not diet as in 'management of portions' or getting sucked in to the latest diet fad/book but just what to eat.
NO to canned soup

YES to home-made soup

How to Win Over People

Being likeable to other people especially if they are around you and you've never met them it's always great to have a nice aura about you. Meaning you shouldn't be slouching, smiling, talkative and giving off the feeling that you want to be there. Although there are always the times where things don't go as planned and can be pretty detrimental to your social identity.

1. Kill Your Ego

No-one likes a party pooper or someone who is really missing the big picture. Egos have no place in social situations and are always frowned upon in social settings. Once the ego manifests itself then your demeanor will change and lose sight of what you're there for in the first place. Being social.

Things You Should Know - Posture

Non-verbal communications are one of the very few things in a man's arsenal that should be well accounted for. by that I mean the subtle cues that can give off what you really intend from what you supposedly intend. A man's posture can give off a lot of important hints, especially in the eyes of women. Most notably his; confidence levels, self-respect, outgoingness and perceived place in a group.

About

About this blog:

In this blog, I'll post tips and tricks into becoming the Renaissance Man that you want to be. Enough of that "alpha" bullshit for that's reserved especially for the animal kingdom, since you're human act like one.

I will also be detailing events of my life that made me who I partially am now. I didn't say I was perfect, but a work in progress as you can imagine. I'm sure some of you can relate to them, as I plan to make them as quick and as detailed as possible.

What is a "Renaissance Man"?

A "Renaissance Man" is a person with many talents or interests, especially in the humanities (see the Renaissance Period). Men like Leonardo DaVinci and Aristotle are the typical Renaissance Men as they had varied fields of study.

One of the biggest secrets in becoming one is that you should be living a perfectly happy and balanced life WITHOUT women before you go and try to pick up some. Women are perks, not necessities.
The reason this concept is so important is because... it has NOTHING to do with women, not unless your life long dream is to be an OBGYN or something.

========================================================

There is an easy formula to be a man:

Have balls + No excuses = MAN

But for those of you who want a more detailed formula:

Physical Power (strength/stamina/endurance) + Wisdom (the understanding and the ability to act) + Honor (having and sticking to convictions) + Purpose (having goals for your life) + Poise (Having balance in one's life) + Courage (be able to overcome fear) + Passion (acceptance/application of inner beast)
= MAN

Two chicks and their Maths homework (Part 2)

Yup, a continuation of the previous story. Let's get to it!

One was brunette and around 5'2" and the other a blonde around 5'6" (i'm 5'5"), and they were walking up to my side. "Oh shit" went the little voice in my head but my mind was like "WTF are they doing? I'm going to ask them." In which I did, still sitting down. Blondie said they were measuring public spaces for their maths homework. Brunette reciprocated with showing me the notebook, full of numbers.

Two chicks and their Maths homework (Part 1)

I can't believe it took me a while to post this actually, then again this blog wasn't even alive so yeah.

I had a liberating experience a few days ago, I really want to post this since the feeling was so surreal to an extent where I felt like I was the boss of those moments. Call it what you wish but I like calling it "one of life's lessons". I am not making this stuff up guys, it really happened, but I won't judge if you think otherwise (I guess).

In keeping with my hope of telling stories as quick and as detailed as I can, they will be now in the form of 'one-liners'.

It has something to do with women and basketball, mostly the women I can assure you that much.

First Post and Greetings!

Hey guys! Earl here and in this blog I'll post tips/strategies for the aspiring "Renaissance Man" and detailing my own experiences that could be post worthy here. So in essence, anything that a typical "Renaissance Man" should know. Sports, health & fitness, relationships, music, philosophy (might have trouble with this one), science and general know-how.

Stay tuned as I'm currently on leave for other issues but I'll write the next post most definitely.

In the meantime, have this motivational wallpaper! Consider it a commiseration from me and a promise to yourself that your life will be sculpted as YOU see fit.
